After the success of both the 2017 and 2018 the Virginia Festival of the Book programs, the folks at Virginia Humanities reached out to have me design their Virginia Folklife Apprenticeship Showcase program. Essentially, each year, they create a dozen pairs of folk-art masters and apprentices. Then, each Spring, they gather to display what they've learned and produced.
