Virginia Festival of the Book is one of the country’s largest literary festival, drawing thousands of book-lovers each year to downtown Charlottesville for a week of talks, panels, signings, and more.
Virginia Humanities, the organizing organization for the Virginia Festival of the Book, recently received a brand overhaul. As a result, the Festival of the Book’s program needed to look new, while maintaining a strong literary focus.
Building on my work for the festival in 2017 and 2018, I worked with Virginia Humanities staff to revise the colors, select new typefaces, and rearrange the content with attendees in mind. The result was the festival’s best program yet.
